Two quick thoughts first the battery may be low or weak. Is the unit plugged into shore power ac when you try this? Second have a second person push the out button while you watch the drive wheel cog below and determine if it is slipping. If it is slipping stop trying to put it out since at may pop the teeth off the gear.

Sorry to hear about your slides. Im assuming they are electric gear driven slides. If you can hear it clicking, the fuses are probably fine. Is your new battery completely charged. Also, are you plugged into shore, generator, or truck power to assist the battery?

If power is good, then you might have a bad motor or gear. If you can move the slide manually a bit, it might get it past the possibly bad gear and then work with the button.

Let us know.

We had an RV that acted similarly. I dropped the bottom so I could get to the motor and gearing. Turns out the gears were plastic! We went through several plastic gears until I could find some metal ones that worked.

I never found any videos for my particular RV, but you never know what a Google search will turn up

Also, it might be worth it to get an estimate from an independent RV service only shop. Could be a lot less than you think.

Good luck and let us know how it turns out.
