Slide out seal attachment

my camper is a Cherokee Limited 274WK with 2 slideouts
one of the exterior seals, the "D" seal is not attached with anything, so it slides down when traveling or just long time in storage. The others are not moving.

should this be secured? i saw some that are screwed, but the screws look like they are rusting due to moisture.

If they are sliding off is that a sign that they are in need of replacement?

it looks like the others are held on by the clear sealant that runs along the seal and the camper side wall, is that typical? Bought the camper used last year, the rubber seals still are soft and flexible not cracking yet

Thank You

Drill a small hole in the bottom of seal, add clear silicone seal in hole, insert screw. If you wish, either paint head of screw or cover with small dab of silicone seal to prevent rusting.
