Slide problem - resolved.
Hello this is my first post on the forum. Joined today to research the problems everyone was having here concerning slides.
The symptoms that I noticed was the corner wood trim in the dining area, and the joint between the slide wall and the dining seating was moving during slide use. So much so it was bowing the wood corner molding considerably, and ripping out the caulk. Both I and my Dealer trimmed the molding which of course didn't resolve anything but was cosmetic.
This progressed to the next symptom. The vinyl flooring started to get marked and torn.
Solution (at least so far) is I discovered 6 of the 8 screws under the slide, on the exterior long edge were missing. This is the L angle and the side that faces the exterior. I purchased #14 x 1" screws to replace the missing ones, and so far, so good. Hope this helps some of you.
