it will break again if replaced with same thing. Both of mine broke in the first few months. I attached them to the frame with galvanized door hinges. Gives it a pivot point. Been working great for last 2 years.
Did the same thing.I used a 3" tee gate hinge.Fastened the long part to the strap with two bolts and nuts.Screwed the other part of the hinge to the trailer frame.Been on there going on two years and going strong.
Mine did the same exact thing after 5 months of use. I had access to some old rubber conveyor belt material. I cut strips out of them and replaced the plastic ones with those.
Has been working very well so far after 3 months and almost every weekend camping putting the slides in and out.
Anyone know if this wire harness support whatever it's called is available? It broke at the frame and now hangs down when the slide is closed.Attachment 86520Attachment 86521

Lippert makes them. Both of mine were broke probably since day 1. We just didn't see it until after a few weeks. The way it was mounted explains a lot. Had it replaced and so far so good. I would love to see some of the "fixes" as well. Jerry
