Slide seal call my my loose. Problem?

Only had my camper 2 months today. 2021 grey wolf 26 dbh.

Put a slide topper on a month ago and I seemingly have had nothing but problems since.
Topper holds water that I have to remove or it floods the interior. Trying to fix this by tightening the topper.

Well, I let the slide out today and it appears that the seal stuck to the slow de and pulled loose.

Now that the topper is on, it will be a bear to fix this by myself

Did you put the topper on yourself?

Easiest way might be to remove it, fix the seal, turn the tube an extra turn and put it back together.

I am definitely not a fan of slide toppers. I would take it off permanently, seal the holes, and rack it up for experience.
If you did not install it yourself, take it back to whoever did and get them to fix it as something is wrong...

We've had slide toppers on our most recent three TTs. The first one, nearly 30 years ago, had no slide. I definitely like our toppers, which keep much of the rain, pine needles, sticks, etc. off the slide-out roof. The current TT had its rather large toppers installed at the FR factory, and the topper on our previous two (SOB) TTs were installed by the dealers. All were installed with proper tension and gave us no trouble at all. On the other hand, our best friends and camping buddies had a topper on their previous TT that was installed too loose and they used pool noodles under the topper to prevent it from forming a large "water trap" when it rained. They've had no issues with the toppers on their 2019 Rockwood. Your dealer should guarantee its work, and hence should make it right. Good luck with the call!
