slide slopes

Bought a 2014 silverback 29re last august. It was purchased used but with a 30 day warranty. After our 2nd trip noticed the kitchen slide was sloping approximately 1". Took back to dealer for adjustment. The adjusted 3/4" and said that was the max. Still slight slope on it. Can something else be going on.

It's sloping from the camper out. Like the slide is to heavy for supports to handle. Wasn't like that the 1st 2 times we camped.

Other possibilities are the track is bent or it is coming loose from the floor. They will have to pull the bottom seals and take a look.

Sometimes the inside wall is 1/4" past the metal opening on top. I have my sirius radio antenna on the slide roof. It would catch the wall board everytime and drag under it. I took a box knife and cut that 1/4" off easy to do You can not see the cut with the slide out. ended my problem. There is a metal strip that is on top of the opening so you should beable to feel it. Attached is how to raise it, if you don't have anything bent or loose under the slide as OC stated. There are two bolts on each end also that adjust the tilt, I think it's pages 22 and 23.

From your description, it may be that the top of the slide is fully extended but the bottom is not. When you extend the slide, the top will touch first...maybe the extend stop needs to be adjusted so the bottom is fully extended too.

Is the process the same for hydraulic slides. Not trying to sound dumb but I'm new to all this stuff.

When slide goes out. The top hits 1st then bottom continues until it sits down in position

Yes there's still a stop adjustment for the fully extended position on a hydraulically driven slide. It will be covered in LCI manual which can be downloaded from the Lippert site.

Dave

Edit: Here's a link to the manual...see page 16. http://lci1.com/assets/content/suppo...e%20Manual.pdf
