Slide Stuck - Ideas?

Have the Surveyor Model 200MBLE - It has the dinette slide. 2016 model.

Slide worked fine this weekend. Home to unload yesterday... attempt to run slide out and NOTHING. Wouldn't move. No straining motor sound. NOTHING. Checked the 15 amp fuse in my main breaker/fuse panel. Looked fine but changed anyway for good measure. I am plugged into shore power (120). Other 12 v electrical working fine. Battery charged overnight. Still no movement or noise from the motor.

My guess its something electrical. I am fairly new to this and have never tried the hand crank to run the slide out. Thought this might be a start? Read somewhere though that this might (hand crank) not be the best next step?? Plan to try and figure it out this evening. Thoughts or ideas greatly appreciated.

Just thoughts

1) Is the trailer level
2) check fuses (I know you said you did) replace fuse anyway
3) Check for loose wires at motor, switch and in between etc.
4) Power at switch ? If the motor is 12V do you have power there? when switch is engaged.

Good Luck

Yep Level .. Did change fuse...

Gotta find the motor? Guessing maybe under slide? Might need to hand open to get to it?
AND Not sure about power at switch. Do have power at all other switches in the switch panel (awning, lights.....) . Thanks will

Some of the slides are easy to manually operate...some are not. If it's an easy one maybe operating manually will jump start the motor and all will be good again(unicorns, ferries, flowers, etc..)

Hmm.... my first step is to locate that motor then. Only been at this 7-8 months. I guess that motor would be somewheere in the slide?

Just a quick thought. I have had a lot of slide problems with my full length wall slide. After a lot of searching for the solution to this problem, I found that I did not have enough "juice" in my battery to move the slide.

My problem appears to be that the converter does not put out enough amps to bring my battery up to 12.4 volts. This happens especially if I am in one place only a day or two. If I am on pedestal or generator power, I grab my 10 amp battery charger, hook it up to my house batteries, and give it 5 minutes or so. My slide works fine after that.

These new slides need a lot of juice to go out or in. I will probably replace my converter with a better one and see if that solves the problem.

The slideout may have its own in-line fuse. Look at the wires near yoru battery and see if there are any inline fuses and check them.

Slide Stuck

Same thing happened to me. Check the wires on your wall switch. Mine came loose.

Does your battery have a full charge? I know you said your plugged in but I think your slide will pull amperage from the battery. And as someone else mentioned, there may be an inline breaker just behind your battery on the frame that may have tripped. It has a tiny button on it you have to press to reset.

Sure.... Bottom line, the fuse labeled for the slide was a 15 amp... Which I checked and changed first thing.

After checking switch, manually backing out slide motor, and relay at drive motor... thinking that the fuse for the slide drive motor should be 30 amp.

Fuses were mislabeled from manufacturer.... a blown 30 amp discovered, replaced, and solved.

Learning!!

We pulled in to a Walmart the other night and the slides didn't open. No noise, nothing. Under the front of the trailer are 2 30 amp fuse holders. Road debris hit one of those holders and knocked the top right off and blew the fuse. I put a new fuse in it and patched up the fuse holder and the slides worked.
