Slideout awning

Hi Everyone,
was wondering if anyone could suggest a slideout awning to look at for our fifth wheel. (ie. what manufacturer you've had good luck with)

My slide awnings have all been installed either by a dealer when new and purchased off his lot. Or new from the manufacture if the trailer was ordered like a Cedar Creek was.
For the most part CAREFREE of CO is one I have had on one of my trailers and it was still in good shape when I sold the trailer.

Another awning which is on my trailer now is DOMETIC with metal wrap. This is still in great shape after 7years on the trailer.

The most important part of getting great life out of them is to clean them often and do not let mold or mildew occur on your awning.

Moved thread from the General Community Discussion section to the Slideouts sub-forum, in the Tech and Repair section.

They are usually called "slide toppers". There are only 3 or 4 companies that manufacture them.
