Slideouts

I purchased 2001 38' Sandpiper on a site this spring and I will need to be closing it up next month when the campground closes for winter.

The unit has two slide outs that operate by hydraulics and there is only one switch, two if you count the on the powerpack. Anyways only the front slideout moves when I activate the switch. I don't have a manual and so are not sure if the two slideouts should operate simultaneously or are they activated separately (in which case I need to find another switch).

Any help you can give me would be appreciated.

Thanks

EricC -- One slide usually operates first and the other one operates, all from the same switch. Did you let the one slideout complete it's travel to see if the other one moves afterward?

slideout not working/now working

The day before we were to leave on a one month trip, our main slideout on our 2016 Rockwood 8280ws stopped working. Checked fuses but still nothing.
We found the manual slide operation and decided to go ahead with our trip using our power drill to manually operate slide.
Every time we stopped for the night, we tried the button and still nothing.
Reached our destination four days later, and voila! the button worked and we have no idea why?
Anybody have any ideas why it would stop and then start again - short circuit in motor?
Husband checked for loose wires and non were evident from a visual.
