I have purchased a used 2006 wildcat 24rl. Unfortunately I was new to rving and noticed the seals were hanging over the top of the slideout. I was told they would be repaired. Used only a couple of times they came off the metal track. It appears there was some sort of goop used to aid in holding them in place. That stuff has gotten all over my interior trim. I have purchased some new double bubble seal material (22 feet) with the hope of installing myself. I was also given a roll of black rubber about the same length but five inches wide. Not sure what it is for. Should just go to the manufacturer and have them install as they have the resources and the skill set to probably remove the whole slideout. I would like to try but not sure.
Any advice appreciated.
