Slidout Seal sticking

I noticed this week that the slidout seal is sticking and a white goo is smearing on one side of the bedroom slide. When I looked, I noticed that the what I assume is a DICOR seal on the back side of the inside slide trim is very sticky and this is what is causing the issue. My question is how do I clean the sticky white sealant off the rubber seal for the slide and also, how do I fix the inside trim? Did possibly a previous owner use the wrong type of dicor to seal the trim?

Thanks in advance!!

I get it oozing out on occasion too. I just use a quick detailer spray wax and paper towel to wipe it off. I also treat my slide out seals with the foaming seal conditioner. It keeps the rubber slick and the sealant won't stick to the rubber.
