Slow Slide Out

I have to push on my slide out to help the motor keep going and get slide to go all the way out. Now I have to pull on slide to get it to come in. this is happening with or without outside power hook up. I replaced the motor a few years ago but I thought for sure it should last a lot longer than this. Can I "BEEF" up the slide out motor to go faster and have more power?
Help Please

I suggest you check the charge level of your battery -- with a meter, not by looking at the control panel lights. Low battery charge will cause this issue.

Rig is level when putting slides in and out? Being out of level can cause more strain. Might help if we knew what type of RV an slides you have. If you checked voltage at the batteries did you also check at the slide motor? Also check the voltage while the motor is running. Perhaps the batteries just can't support the load anymore?
