Slugish slide outs

we have a 2017 sandpiper with hydraulic slide out and hydraulic level up systemthey run off the system

the battery is new showing 13.6 volts and the converting is showing it is putting out 13.6 volts to the battery we are plugged into shore power 50 amps and yes it is wired correctly

when we moving the slides you have to stop and restart a couple of times to get it to go completely in or out acts like it needs to recharge the battery briefly

when using the level up system you have to do it manually and the system with shut itself off a as if the battery was low it show 13.6 volts ??
if you try to use the auto the system will shut off

does anyone know what the pump should be drawing for amps
looking for any suggestions and i have checked all of the connections and grounds

This is exactly how our hydraulic system was acting. With ours it was the 50amp auto reset breaker continually tripping and resetting. We would start bringing the slides in or the levelers up, and it would stop. Wait a few seconds, the breaker would auto reset, we could resume for a bit. Repeat until you were done.
Lippert said to replace the 50amp auto reset breaker with an 80amp. No more problems since then. There was a tech bulletin on it, but I can't find it now.
Check your auto reset breaker to see what size it is. If you already have the 80amp, then start checking hydraulic pump amp draw, batteries, and breaker. Breakers wear out just like everything else.

As far as battery power; the 13.6 is the converter output. You need to disconnect the batteries and load test them to see if they are still good. Weak or bad batteries can also cause breakers/fuses to trip.

the battery was about three years old but tested ok but we did replace it anyway so the battery is new and it is fully changred
when working the slids it actully does not stop but it starts to go so slow just barly moving so if you let off on the switch and then just push it back on it speeds back up for about the next 12 inches so you need to do that through out the three slides

but i will look at the fuse

I've always had good luck calling Lippert tech support. They have helped me diagnose several things, and even sent free parts occasionally!

UP Date

well finally had time to replace the fuse, well i actually added another 80 amp that just runs the hydraulic motor as the original 50 amp had another connector off of it and it was part of the hot lead buss bar.
so i had to run the battery lead to the 80 amp and then add another connection to the hot buss bar
but upon trying the slides they work as should with no hesitation i will be trying the landing gear this week

thanks NMwildcat

Congrats on getting it going again! Always a good day when things work like they are supposed to.
And thanks for getting back to us on the outcome.
Happy RVing!
