surveyor 302 - broken slide gear teeth and rail teeth

anyone ever replace a main rail on a slide with teeth and gear assembly? ive replace the gear assembly before as this happened over a year ago but now they broke again as well as 2 or 3 teeth on the rail itself. thank you.
