Anybody ever walk on their slide roof with out any problems from doing it ? I.e. cracking noises or problems pulling back in.
I have stepped on the very edge from a ladder and then up on the roof but I would never put my full weight on the slide out itself. My slide never budged and everything worked just fine afterward.
Not a problem walking and or kneeling on slides . it happens all the time . in the factory workers get on the slides , at dealerships workers get on the slides . I have gotten on mine several times to wash/wax above the slide ,had to replace the D-seal on top of slide so got on it and installed D-seal . never a issue not a problem it's ok to do .
I watched a Forest River promotional video for the Wildcats where the rep jumped down from the roof onto the slide out, landing solidly with both feet at the same time. Probably wouldn’t do it with MINE, but nice to know I can.
I don't walk on mine - I now have toppers on all slides. BUT I took a pic of a Wildcat service rep on the lid of my kitchen/pantry/entertainment center slide before I had toppers installed. He was a big boy... caused no damage that I could tell.
