Water leak and carpet staining

Not quite sure where this should be posted....I have what appears to be water coming out of my fridge, leaking into the sidewall of the slide, then staining the bottom of the slide, and also staining the carpet.

Iím not sure when the stains on the carpet appeared, but we think it was after driving 10 hours with the fridge on, it leaking water into the closed slide, then upon arriving at the campground, opening the slide.

We have a 2020 Flagstaff 524LWS (same as the Rockwood 2441) with a driver side slide that has the fridge and dinette in it.

I think what is happening is the water hose on the fridge is not allowing the water to travel to the outside of the wall. Iíve attached a photo of the hose coming out of the fridge and connecting to a hose holder clip, inside the vent, meaning the water drips inside the plastic vent, pools and I suspect it is leaking into the slide walls.
The hose isnít long enough to pull it and have it drain outside the vent.
Our other trailers of course had fridge hoses, but they always went thru one of the vent openings and dripped out the side of the trailer...harmlessly.

The water has been pooling inside the cavity behind the fridge and while some does make it to the outside, I donít think all of it does. There is clear caulking around most of the cavity opening where the vent cover attaches, but it seems to have low spots and I think places where the water seeps in.

The photos under the slide show the water staining.

The weird part is that is now staining on the carpet. Itís mainly by the edges of the dinette, but is noticeable throughout most of the carpet. The stain has remained despite being dry. Itís almost like a oily stain, but itís more dry than oily.

The water making its way into the wall of the slide makes sense and I need to find a way to get the hose to drain outside. What doesnít make sense is the carpet staining.

Thoughts on what might be staining the carpet? I have to think its the water, but then again, how did it get to by the dinette.
