What could this be?

So we are on our dream trip, SC to Alaska and back in 90 days. We stayed in Jasper AB National Park Sinday and Monday and drove Highway 40 out of Hinton to Dawson Creek. We encountered a few nasty heaves in the road, marked and unmarked that gave our 3011DS Class C a few shudders. When we set up here and put out the large slide out, it rolled most of the way out smoothly but near the end it seemed to go over a "bump" twice in short order. It seems to be lined up perfectly and otherwise runs in and out just fine. we ran it back and forth several times while I watched the gearing as best I could but could see no obstructions or anything else that might cause this. Any thoughts?

Could have been a rock in the gears that fell out once it passed the pinion.
Or it could have been a rock or something under one of the rollers that fell out.
