2016 Cedar Creek 34RE 5th wheel winterization?

Can someone please direct me to a link or manual that will explain how best to winterize Cedar Creek. I store it in a heated storage unit, but want to be extra careful in case the power should go out. Our Cedar Creek has a residential refrigerator with ice maker and a clothes washer. On my last travel trailer I just hooked up a low-pressure air compressor to the city water inlet and opened and closed each faucet until all I got was air. Will that technique still work to clear out water from the ice maker and washer? Thanks for all suggestions.

I copied this from what a friend sent me. I do NOT put antifreeze in WH, step 9. You can if you want.

1--- turn valves to winterizing position.Hot water by-pass etc.

2---drain hot water tank and low level drain valves open at same time.

3---place winterizing hose in anti-freeze.

4---go inside and turn on pump switch.

5---after pump has stopped, check to make sure you have enough anti-freeze left outside to do the job.

6---start inside and turn on all cold water taps ( one at a time ) until you see the anti-freeze coming through.Shower and toilet as well.

7---next is the hot water and do the same as the cold.

8---do the outside shower taps as well.

9---I always put some in the hot water tank just in case ( using a funnel )

10---With the ice maker, I leave the pump on over nite and the ice maker will draw from the anti-freeze just like water, and when you come out in the morning you will see your anti-freeze in the freezer. Take out the filter first, and put in the blue plug that came with the refrigerator.

11---done NO------you'll have to read what has to be done with your washing machine and dryer--------as they say, it's in the book.

I hope this helps guy and if I have made a mistake, I hope someone will correct me. Let us know how you make out.

Please note-------------always make sure you have enough anti-freeze at the intake hose and don't let it run dry.

Bill is exactly correct. I have followed this procedure with my 34RE the past few years with no problems.
Just run a short cycle with your washer/dryer to get the water out and some antifreeze in. We usually put it in the spin cycle then do a rinse. Not a complete cycle so you keep the antifreeze in the tub.

With a decent compressor and valve for the water input, using air is also easy.

But, rv antifreeze bought off season is cheap!

Two gallons do it. Quick.
