2017 Silverback 33RK unknown TV Mount

The top two screws worked themselves out and it was a real pain getting them back in. I bought 2- hex head 6mm bolts so I could reach behind the tv in the 2 inches of available space, be able to get the threads started. It is impossible to get a good look behind the TV to see how the mount detaches, but it has to somehow. It would be nice if someone out there knows what type of mount is used, or how it detaches from the wall mount.

Take a pic (use a flash light to illuminate) someone on the forum will know the brand of TV mount and how to get the TV off it.

I have a 2016 33IK. The TV mount is as pictured here. There are 4 flanged knobs screwed in to the back of the TV and they slip in from the top of the keyhole bracket hole and then drop down about 1/2". It is a pain to get it in and out.

Hi,

My 2014 33RL TV mounts are like dieselguy's.

On mine, there is a rotating bracket at the top of the TV that prevents it from bouncing out of the mounts. Swing that out of the way and lift.

Once you get the hang of it, removing the TV is pretty easy. Admittedly, replacing it takes a bit of fiddling around to get the tabs on the back of the TV to drop in those slots.

Hope this helps.

After a considerable and difficult effort I was able to remove the tv from the bracket

The top of the bracket has a tab that fits into a slot in the wall bracket.

The bottom of the bracket has two spring loaded tabs that fit into the holes in the wall mount

To free it in the future, I'll use a long bladed screw driver to lift the leaf spring on the bottom tabs and the tv will pivot out from the bottom allowing the top tab to drop out of the wall mount slot.
Just not much room to reach behind the tv to work on it.
