2019 silverback battery disconnect switch?

Should the battery disconnect switch be pointing to on or off when at a campground and connected to shore power and which settings charge the batteries?

Pointing to on.. they should remove the word disconnect and just use the word battery. Battery is on or battery is off..

Somewhat confusing is that many Battery Disconnect switches don't totaly disconnect. On my 2015 Silverback, the Inverter, hydraulics and CO censor do not "disconnect".

On for everything but unpowered storage.

And if you do store the unit unpowered, heed CC75's advice. The hydraulics don't draw power, but the propane detector and inverter will. You may wish to either disconnect the batteries or rewire the propane detector and inverter through the disconnect switch so they don't drain the batteries (bad for them) when stored.

Easier if you are able to plug the unit in while stored.

I had a 2019 33IK. The inverter was behind the rounded panel in the front storage. You had to turn it off and on with a pushbutton on the faceplate. It was not on the "disconnect" and would drain the batteries if left on. Get a Blue Sea switch and install it between the existing battery ground cable and the negative terminal. That will kill everything. You'll need another length of cable to do this.
