34IK Refrigerator broke loose

We have a 2020 Hathaway 34IK with about 18,000 miles on it.
On a trip from FL to TX we noticed the fridge flopped back into its opening upon retracting the slide. I looked and the plate that is screwed to the wall and glued to the top of the fridge had broken loose from the glue.
Just wondering what the remedy is for this as I suspect re-gluing it will result in the same condition.
Has anyone had the same condition? How did you repair it?

So this pic shows a line of screw holes which are against the wall at the rear of the fridge. The wide area lays on top of the fridge and comes with some type of adhesive. Double sided tape in my case I think. As I was thinking about the adhesive I remembered that the fridge had been removed by my local dealer to facilitate the recall back in early 20 I think. Not certain of the date but the fridge had to be removed so I now suspect it wasn't reinstalled correctly.
Anyway, I used some Loctite PL SuperGrab adhesive and re attached the plate to the top of the fridge. Shouldn't have any more problems.

I have been on a 10 month journey to have our refrigerator repaired under extended warranty. When parts finally were available I had to move out the refrigerator for the mobile repairman. The adhesive was very strong so ended up unscrewing the plate from the wall. Frig still not fixed as they need another part.....

If the plate is attached that well you may never have the problem I had.
My only next problem may be getting the plate off if needed!!!

I chose to install a d-ring into the wall on each side of the fridge and use a ratchet strap to secure it when we tow.

On our Cedar Creek Hathaway 34IK, we have a similar problem, however our Insignia stove is also flopping forward, by about 3 inches. As a result of movement, our cabinets and counters on either side of the stove have torn off twice now. We took a ride in the rig and found out what was really happening. We found that using some small screws at the top of a fridge won't stop the fridge nor the stove from bouncing up and down when going over bumps. Whomever thought that a thin piece of plywood on the floor of the slide, would not flex when it's hanging 1 and 1/2 inches above the floor with no support and several hundred lbs of appliances and cookware? Even from the factory our stove tipped forward nearly 2 as the slide closed. We just thought that was by design.. Didn't realize we'd become cabinet repair people every time we transport the rig.
