35IK Issues and Mods

Taking delivery of 2019 35IK and was wondering what to look out for during new delivery inspection. We will not be picking up from the dealer, but instead picking up in a town 8 hours from us.

Also has any one installed a slide out storage unit in the pass thru?

Batteries, make sure all cables are correct and secure. Check the drain pulls, they seem to rust quickly. Had ours replaced under warranty. Make them connect to water and check all faucets. Our kitchen faucet was missing a washer and water went everywhere on our first trip. Check all windows open and latch properly.

These are all rather minor but items serve dealt with on our 2017 35IK.

Operate and check all the slides that they seal tight when open and closed , check the roof to make sure it is sealed properly , check all lights , Like above reply said open and close the tank valves a few times. Good Luck

Took delivery of a 2018 35 IK in January, here’s the issues we’ve had thus far:

Table top scratched
Ceiling finish above theatre seating puckering
Outlet on island not functioning
Drawer slide in bedroom dresser not self closing
Fender flares cracked
Carpet binding near fireplace pulling loose
Rock chip in front cap probably happened on the 2500km trip from factory to dealer
Hope this is all we ever have issues with. Love the unit so far!

Yes, I did. 60X36. I had MorRyde do it at FROG. I was at their plant before getting Independent Suspension installed but they didn't have that size. Had to build it. They brought it out and installed it the last day of FROG.

I'm going to get some metal sheeting and put in the back of it so things that I stack too high don't fall off. Other than that, it's awesome.

Work your slides in and out with both switches during PDI.

Be sure tires are fully inflated to the pressure on the placard which is probably the same as on the tires.
