traded my 36 RE in last weekend and today while visiting the dealer they showed me how the weight of the spare tire had just about ripped the frame and metal supports off the bottom of the trailer, so if you have one you may want to check, and no I never backed over anything, as a matter of fact the only placed it went to was Disney, 17 miles from my house and all sites are level and concrete.
mine was a 2010, dealer is going after forest river for repair costs as it took almost 2 days to replace everything. Don't know if they changed the design after 2010.
