A few questions you might be able to help with

Hello,
I'm purchasing a 2004 Forest River RV Cedar Creek 36 RLTS...upsisizing from a 2013 skyline mountain view 28' (Some of my previous past owns over the years have been a 71 vw campervan, 73 gmc canyons lands, a couple small 70s something pull behinds, and an 80s something gooseneck)
My questions are how wide are the slide outs in this model? are there storage tanks directly under the master bed? Has anyone any 2004 brochures to upload and share? I've researched and found most of the brochures available, noticing the computer desk slide out option (which my daughter LOVES) was offered from 2000 -2010. I think 2009 introduced the anniversary edition, which will be coming about again soon! I also noticed it was close to that year that they introduced the option to swap the living room and bedroom at either end which was pretty cool. It was interesting to view additions to the textiles, trimwork and features over the years.
If anyone is able to answer my questions, or would like to comment, I would appreciate your input!

Thanks

Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. You are purchasing a 13 year old rig and from your questions it would seem you have not seen the unit. Move away from your computer with a tape measure in hand and actually look at the rig you will answer most of your questions yourself. Latest FR Cedar Creek brochures will answer most of the other questions. Unless you are trying to return it to stock what good is the original brochure?

Hello and thanks for you're input.
however, I don't have the time or motivation to document my life story in buying rigs, my current situation, or write an explanation for requesting helpful information .
Regrettably.
If anyone else is able to answer the question regarding if the water holding tanks are stor ed directly under the mattress of the bed i would appreciate it.
Thanks

I reread my post and want to say I was not trying to be a smart ass, just trying to get to the point that with an old rig you really have to look at it. You never know what the last owners did or didn't do and looking at new rigs gives ideas on how to improve the older ones.

I have a 2002 of this model. Rear slides are about 48 inches. Bedroom is less about 24 inches. I have a stick with the distance the slides extend marked on it. I use it to verify clearance before extending.

No tank under bedroom as this is storage in mine

The 36RLTS is a great unit but large and heavy. My major concern is stopping it and down grade control

Good Luck

I believe you would have better luck with answers to your questions if you had not given so much background information. Frankly, I read your post twice before it made any sense to me.

It seems to me that information would only be helpful if the 2002 unit is just like the 2004 unit. That's a real stretch in the world of RVs.

Thanks for your reply. I gave the background info to show that I have a history of purchasing and of purchasing diverse rigs. Not a noob at this. Sorry I didn't write more clearly.
Thanks

Good point!
That was my reason for asking if anyone has a 2004 brochure to share.
Thanks
