Blue lights every where at night

Ok , we love our 5th wheel but come on , what is up with all the blue lights in the bed room and living room . Why in the world would anyone make a TV and entertainment center where when in the off position that the blue light would stay on and you can't just put tape over them because now they will not work . But when you turn the tv's on the blue light goes off LMAO !!!! Ass backwards , all my TV's here at home the lights come on when you turn the units on so why in the world would Jensen do it back wards . I just wish we could take the engineers out for one night and let them try and sleep with the lights shinning in your eyes. So now we have a place to hang a shirt or jacket just to cover the stupid lights and for sleeping in the fold out in the living room good luck lol thank god you have all those pillows from the couch to lean in front of the TV and stereo . What has everyone else done ??

You haven't spent enough time with engineers. They don't sleep at night.

Mine is red instead of blue and the green on comes from the smoke detector. What is the deal. I have the same issue. Turn off the lights.

I know exactly what you mean. The blue light on tv in the bedroom of our 29IK annoyed the heck out of me. We never use that tv, so I just unplugged it. I always wondered why the living room tv had a "NOT ON" indicator light.

Why can't you put a small piece of electrical tape over the light. You said it won't work then?

Oh, and I am an engineer too

Our bed room in the 34RL does not have any blue lights on displayed in the TV. The TV is un-plugged 100% of the time. We also cover the microwave clock and dim the radio clock to have no light output at all. She even covers up the little lights on the sensors at the foot of the steps. My grand kids call our camper the Bat cave, my DW has to have it really really dark in the camper to sleep at night.

I don't have a problem with the lights on I just close my eyes and go to sleep, DW does her best sleeping with the tv on. We keep the light on the microwave on at night. Different strokes for different folks, it works for me. I can't see anything at night with my eyes closed but then I'm afraid of the dark so I have no trouble keeping my eyes closed at night

It's been proven that people sleep better, the darker it is...

One would think that ESPECIALLY for Products intended for Vehicle / Camper / Battery Use, there would be FEWER Vampire Load Circuits instead of MORE.

The Green or Yellow Lights festooning your Fire Detector and CO Detector and LP Detector are there because long ago a set of Congress Critters decided it was Important to ensure that the Home Owner had an Indicator to ensure they knew the Detectors were ON and supposedly Working. Of course, these Congress Critters lacked the Foresight or the Care that their Legalese would not Accommodate those with Sleeping Issues or those in Battery-serviced "Residences" or otherwise...
Who would think that someone whose idea of Vacation is "Penthouse Condo on Riviera" would have considered the Impact on the Commoners??

It has been on my things to do list to see if there is a way to turn those blue lights off, but have not had time to download the TV manual. I think they did that across the pond just to pee us off.

The former sometimes messes with my eyes and sinuses.
And the latter surely messes with my head.
(Not that THAT stops me...)

I use a couple of post-it notes. On at night. Stuck alongside when I want to use it.
