That is my game plan right now. Just looking online at various dealers there is a huge difference in price. It will be interesting, just waiting for the house to sell.

Did you have any luck on locating a build sheet?

When we bought our 2013 Cedar Creek Custom 36CKTS, there was no build sheet. The dealer provided a sheet with pricing that we negotiated plus a list of options available from which me made our choices. As for a dealer, we shopped the RV show then started with the local dealer. When it became apparent they were more interested in show pricing than negotiating a sale, we looked elsewhere. After a search across Texas, we started by google search for FR dealers and contacted them individually and settled on two, Jeff Couch's RV Nation, Hamilton OH and Stoltzfus RV in Adamstown PA. We bought it from Stoltzfus after a back and forth between the two dealers. We were going to be vacationing in PA anyway so we wound up saving the transport dollars in the process. The best deal will always be the one that works best for your budget and individual tastes.

As for our Custom 36CKTS, we love it, camped 5 weeks on the way home and have just returned from 2 weeks to Nashville. In the shop now (in TX) to address some of the Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) items plus some we found on the last two trips. My advise, take your time during PDI, document everything regardless of seriousness, ask your dealer about the FR extended warranty. Get documented IOUs for any item not corrected prior to final delivery. Hope to have everything corrected so we can hit the road again in mid to late September. Looking forward to seeing the seasonal color change this year.

Join the Cedar Creek RV Owners Club (CCRVOC) in addition to this one, as the forums provide info that will help you adjust to your new Creek.

Thanks for all the good info. I will have to give those two dealers a call. Got one good quote from a dealer in Elkhart, In. Speaking of IN, was up there earlier this month and did a tour of the Cedar Creek factory. Very informative tour, learned a lot. Really nice people that work there.

36 ckts

Build sheet? don't need one, I got the real McCoy in May. We have about 6000 miles on her already, getting ready to head down the Blvd again in October (Cherokee NC this time.)

We are in Spring and when we bought our trailer (on-line, no less) we had experience the FR CC at the Houston RV Show, then shopped the local dealer, talked at length with the factory rep, obtained brochures and www.links before we started negotiating a sale. Fun Town RV www.funtownrv.com in Ft Worth came in pretty close but we had already committed by the time they responded. We also talked w/J.J. Neves @ Ancira RV inBoerne, TX.1 800-299-1199 or (830) 981-9000, Cell: (210) 844-1407 www.ancirarv.com but could not make a deal there. We made our best deal @ Stoltzfus RV in Adamstown PA, go figure! DW grew up in that neighborhood so off we went.

The online brochure is pretty accurate except there are changes associated with certian options, such as we chose Custom Paint and got the deluxe BR entertainment package included. The Explorer package had some adjustment after we chose the Level-Up system.

PM me and I'll respond with a phone contact so we can discuss this further if that will help.

Welcome to FRF.
