Capacity of Rear Bike Hitch on Silverback 33RL

I have a 2013 Silverback 33RL with a rear bike hitch. Does anyone know the capacity of the hitch?

The 2" receiver is placarded for 300#. The new 1.5" is probably less. They went smaller to discourage towing. The receiver is built for a bicycle rack. Even a 4 bike carrier will work. Hope this helps.

I have a 2 bike rack on mine by Swagman. I loosen the handlebars on the bike closest to the camper and turn them sideways so they are not so close to camper. My wife has followed me before and said the bikes do bounce alot. I might put on a support bar for the bike rack.

Thanks all that replied. With your help, I think that I have the capacity for 2 Bikes.

Yes, the 1.5" receiver on my 29RL Silverback has a 150# weight limit.

Mine has the 2" receiver and the capacity is 300lbs. I wish they didn't change it to a 1 1/4". I usually only carry two bikes but it is nice to have if I need it. I hate when they take something because someone uses it for what it was not what it was intended for. I recommend a swagman.
