CC 38FB2 (2 Gray tanks)

I was curious if the dual gray tanks on my model are connected or separate. If someone knows it would be greatly appreciated info into a possible problem I am experiencing.

Thanks,
Jason

If you tell us the problem the forum may be able to give you a solution to what ever is going on.

I'm pretty sure only one of the tanks is filling up as I've dumped twice as there is nothing in the second tank (verified by sight and gauge)

if I'm reading you right only one of the gray tanks is filling. do you only have one dump valve for both of the gray tanks? My rig has two gray tanks and two gray dump valves. One tank does the kitchen the other the shower.

There are two valves for the gray in the wet bay and one black. One is labeled bath and the other galley, at least that's the way my 38fb2 is. The other black is just in front of the drivers side front tire. The galley gray tank is for the kitchen sink and 1/2 bath sink. The black in front of the tire is for the 1/2 bath toilet.

Nah I have two separate valves for the grey tanks, just as the others have described.

Thanks for the info as that's how I assumed it was plumbed in. I probably just haven't used enough in the galley to notice a change.

I have a different trailer but it has 2 grey and one black as well. It took several trips to figure out that one grey was for the shower only, and the second for the galley only. The black is for the toilet, and surprisingly for the bathroom sink as well.

I also have the 38FB2 and there are 2 gray and 2 black. Which of the 4 tanks has nothing coming out?

2 Gray tanks 1 Black

We have a 38CK this is what we found out. One gray tank is for kitchen & shower which fills separately from the other. The 2nd gray tank is for bathroom sink and washing machine. Hope this helps

I believe the FB model has a bath and a half, and thus two black tanks (apparently). But the OP didn't ask about black tanks. He asked if the two grays are connected as nothing has dumped out of one of his gray tanks.

If they are 'connected', it's news to me and most CC owners. So I suspect you have another problem of some kind.

My suggestion would be to pour a ton of water into the shower..........and another ton into the kitchen sink......takes a while. Then go pull one gray tank valve handle and see what happens. Close it.......and THEN open the other gray tank valve and see what happens.
