CC SB 33IK ice maker line

Has anyone installed an ice maker and supply line into a 33IK with residential frig? How did you run the water supply line into the slide out?

I have a 36 CKTS, but they all work about the same. I negotiated for an icemaker with our dealer when we bought our camper. The Tech put a tee in the cold water line under the kitchen island and ran it down through the floor, then out through a cable way in the "I" beam. Then to a shut off valve. From there it goes with all the other cables and hoses to the slide. Then he reduced it down to the standard 1/4" line that icemakers need. Then, he drilled a hole up through the outer wall of the slide. If you drill about 1/2" in from the outer edge you will go right through the sill plate of the wall. Of course, you'll have to plan and measure the best spot. Mine comes up under the stove, then runs forward to the back of the refrigerator. Hope this helps you.

Unhappy Ice Maker

And don't forget to get the water out of that line when it comes time to winterize again. Stinks to see water dripping out from under your slide because of a broken water valve on the back of the fridge that froze over the winter..................

Blow air with low point open and all faucets open. But I'm seldom in freezing weather. That would be like jumping out of a perfectly good airplane![emoji23]

Job complete: only had to remove one belly panel. Actually quite easy to follow path of gas line from stove. Used all braided waterline from kitchen sink to frig.
