Cedar Creek 40 CCK

Our 40 CCK survived the zero degree temperature, snow and ice with no problems. The tank heaters were on and I put a 60 watt light bulb near the water pump.We have an eleven thousand watt generator that I can plug the 50 amp cord into. This worked fine as the power was off three nights for more than ten hours each time. The sewer is connected to a septic system through a pvc pipe sloping down so I didn't need to use flex hose. The insulated water hose froze the second day but the fresh water tank and pump worked fine.
The propane heater was all we needed
Not fun but it can be done.

Good to know. We full-time and have had teens & twenties with a foot of snow and been comfortable. We did close the bedroom & bathroom doors the last time to save a little propane. Power went out the first 2 times...bought a pair of generators and the lights haven't even flickered since!

Well for the most part I try and keep my CC in the warm, however only once I was in a surprise cold spell got down into the teens in April I was ok but you sure go through the propane even using two electric heaters. Happy to say that was years ago and has not happened since..
