converter size

Thinking about adding Li batteries.

Anyone got a clue as to what converter is in my 2018 Hathaway 34RE.

Save a 72 year old from looking in thru a drawer at the existing converter. It would need replacement.

Costco is having a sale on batteries this month.

Most FR RVs that I know of use WFCO electrical systems. If yours does, it will be marked so on the electrical panel door or in the inside opening area. WFCO uses their own brand converters. On my 2018 Coachman the stock WFCO converter was a lead acid type.

Any info on the lithium battery sale at Costco would be appreciated.

If converting to LiFePo4 the converter section can be replaced with a Progressive Dynamic's LiFePo4 compatible converter without having to replace the entire power center.

Check out 01Tundra's latest post on what the conversion looks like.

The Cedar Creek will likely have a WFCO 55 AMP converter for Lead Acid. It will be standalone converter so there should be no issue with the load center. You will need to upgrade to a LiFePO4 converter and I suggest the Progressive Dynamics but there other good ones as well. Avoid WFCO anything. FWIW.

Thanks. It is the WFCO 55. I looked.

Opted to retain my wet cell batteries for a while. I think the converter is wonky.

Never, ever goes to bulk. Slow. Bought the 60 amp Progressive Dynamics 9000 series.
