Direct tv sound

Hello to everyone. We just got back from a 4200 mile trip in our 2015 34rl. We love this fifth wheel. Had very few issues with the rig. The one thing that we have not figured out is the Direct tv has very low sound on the highest volume setting. Does anyone know how we can make the speakers work with direct tv. If we use cable or the air antenna the volume is more than enough. It is only with the Direct tv that it does not work. Thank you for any help you can give us with this.

What type of cables are you using to connect your DIRECTV receiver to your TV... HDMI or a/v cables?

P.S. I was in Aransas Pass Wednesday!

Then I don't know what else to suggest other than to try a different HDMI cable since the DIRECTV receiver is an add-on beyond what you'd use for your antenna-vision or cable TV.

I would look for an audio input on your sound system that you could feed the audio output from your DirecTV receiver into.

What you have to do is go in the menu on the tv in the audio part and go down to the tv sound and turn that off and if you have a sound bar turn it on or your Jenson DVD and turn it on. I can run DW out playing the sound so loud
