Door done fell off
So my daughter went out the camper to look for something the other day and texts me that the bedroom door fell off. I question her a bit to make sure I under stood her correctly and she confirmed that the door is no longer attached to the door frame. I go out to check on it and sure enough, the door pulled away from the frame. The hinges are still attached, but the wooden board that was brad nailed to the frame came free.
Anybody know of a sure way to fix it? I was thinking of using an adhesive and re-nailing.

Can you post a picture of the damaged area? We can help you fix it correctly.

That may be jumping to conclusions.
It is possible the door was not closed for travel at some point and the swinging/weight of the door separated the door and the frame. It would not be the first time I've seen that happen.
The weight and inertia of items bouncing down the highway can do some serious damage if not properly secured. It may have even jarred it loose and caused it to fail while sitting still.
Just another's opinion.

That would be a good way to fix it. I went out myself yesterday, I said what is wrong with this fireplace. Started to check and all 6 screws pulled out of the frame. They use composite wood not solid wood. I told my wife and said hell I hope my over head cabinets don't fall off the wall..

Fair statement. My comment is however, if the frame / jamb was screwed down (instead of nailed which is acceptable residential construction practice), it would probably not of fallen.
RV's really need to be screwed together, not nailed. Nails are fine in a static situation, not fine in a moving situation. I've had to 'fix' a a few items in my unit where 'nailed' items had to be refastened with screws, I just don't post it. I accept it as 'preventive and pro-active' maintenance.
Why I commented on quality workmanship...
I'd like to see mainstream RV builders screw together assemblies or epoxy then instead of using nails or staples.... Some manufacturers do, most don't.

I can't say that wasn't a possibility. It usually was closed but may have not been secured this last trip. It's not on my list of things to check prior to departing.

Composite wood....AKA: particle board with a veneer finish.......
Reminds me of the 'Sauder' knock down, you assemble furniture you buy at discount box stores.....
Looks good, particle board of unknown origin

You are correct they couldn't use anything cheaper, the screws had to fall out just from traveling down our great highway system, hell even my island pulled out and moved 6" over at one end because it is screwed down in that laminated floor system.

Door fix
We also have a 36ckts. We found that in travel, the bedroom door would "unlatch" causing it to swing back and forth. We went to Lowes and got a strong magnetic catch. That enabled the door to stay in the opened position and not swing back and forth during travels.
Here is the link.

If the ftame is wood, reattach the board and use longer screws through the hinges, board, and into the frame. (Same thing you doe in S&B home if a door hinges come loose).

If recommending "glue", it's a good idea to specify a very-specific type with which you are confident will be appropriate.
"Glue" could mean ANYTHING that's adhesive.
Super-glue (cyanoacrylate)
Gorilla (polyurethane)
Titebond (aliphatic)
Scotch Spray (trade secret)
Hundreds more (some will work in this application, some won't)
See what I mean?
Thanks for any additional info you can lend to this.

I have used the professional grade subfloor construction adhesive many times, good stuff, I get it at Lowes. Looks like a sidewall, don't use too long of a screw, your next post will have a pic of the outside of the RV. with a screw sticking out!

Well as a general rule I use wood glue for wood...
I suppose you could use something else.
