Silverbacks do not have a "rear cap". It's been well over a year since the factory replaced my Silverback cap and it appears to hold up nicely. And it sits in the SUN every day of its life. I use a high tech no wash spray wax regularly. We'll see, long term.
Steps rusted through and fell off one side. UGH!! If you have those steel steps, watch the back pins or land on your "donkey". Denise shipped us a replacement and we had them installed. All good right now!!
