FireFly issue and great service!

Just a quick thread to say I experienced an issue with FireFly not responding to either of our mobile devices apps. It would connect but you couldn't control anything. A quick email to FireFly got a prompt response (less than 30 minutes) and after a few troubleshooting steps (checking module light status and voltage on two pins) I reset the module with a 12v/120v power cycle and all is well again!

There's been some complaining on this forum about the lack of customer service from FireFly but that has never been the case in the times I reached out to them. I just wanted to give them a kudos!

BTW... they now have the WIFI version of the communication module ready and for sale. It replaces the Bluetooth communication module and gives you WIFI connectivity to FireFly from anywhere, if you have capable internet at your R/V. It has both ethernet and wireless connectivity to the module. It is pricy at $950 but if one was wanting to watch temps for the pets or warm/cool your R/V before arriving, etc., the new Eclipse module would do the trick

Firefly issue

How did you go about resetting the module. Did you kill the house power by switching off the "use" button? Or did you have to kill the power from the chassis as well?

As i mentioned, I killed the power to the module by turning off both the 120v power (pedestal breaker] and then the 12v power. (battery disconnect) I then turned each back on.
