Fireplace needs to be replaced

We have a 2019 Forest River Cedar Creek and our fireplace starts up and within a couple seconds turns off, my husband took it apart and seen that it had damage to the igniter area, so we have been trying to contact the company that made the fireplace for 6 months and isn't getting no where, any suggestions on a different route on fixing it, do anyone have any suggestions on ant websites we can check out for replacement parts, Thanks Kim and Tam

Since you mentioned igniter are you saying it is a propane fireplace?
Do other propane appliances work OK?
Factory installed?
Make/model of the fireplace?
Did it ever work?

This is the brands forest river put in our 2020. Not bad prices on them.
Just fine your dimensions of your current model. Hole size it's stuck in and depth of the unit and get one the same size. https://www.recpro.com/rv-fireplaces/

I have a 2019 silverback 29IK that the fireplace stopped working in 2020. I removed it and inspected it. I found the circuit board had overheated. I took pictures and contacted the maker of fireplace asking for a new circuit board. They replied asking for more pictures and a purchased date. After I sent them pictures, they replied that they were sending me a new fireplace. I received it about 10 days later.

In order to avoid the FP overheating on our 2019 CC we pull the FP out 1-2" . this allows for better airflow. We have never had an overheat problem as others have.

It is very likely an electric fire feature. It has no igniter. It has a blower and a resistance heating element. Mine failed due to corrosion in the main power lead where it enters the control module--use of acid flux during assy. Mfr was no help on parts and preoccupied with limiting warrantee expense. Replacement is avail from Home Depot for $275. Same piece of crap-no decernable improvement but it fits in the hole.

If it's the igniter, you can try a local department or plumbing store and see if they have the part. Or you can try entering the igniter part number in 'google' to see if they have suggestions as to companies that make replacements.
Have you tried Forest River Parts department? Seems a shame to have to replace the entire fireplace over an igniter.
