floor squeaks Cedar Creek Cottage

Hi I have a 2021 Cedar Creek 40 CDL the floor in front of the refrigerator squeaks every time you walk in that area I was wondering if anyone else out there has this problem and maybe found a cure for it THANKS

I can’t recall any squeaking in our flooring. Is it happen only during certain seasons? Could be a matter of expansion or retraction.

I would be worried if our floor didn't squeak a little.
It might mean some water intrusion that might dampen the squeak.
All kidding aside. Our floor has squeaked a little since it was new. It now as 27,000 miles on it.

Look at the floor-to-frame mounting bolts under the camper frame outrigger brackets. Either 9/16 or 5/8 deep socket will allow you to tighten up the lag bolts that secure the camper to the frame. Add flat washers and lock washers as necessary and snug 'em up if necessary. This may stop the floor from moving/squeaking.

Hi, I have a 2023 Cedar creek 40 cdl , and we have the exact same problem. Were you able resolve this issue with the recommandations of Silhouette Penny?

Have a 2023 Cedar Creek 40’ Cottage. Have the squeak too. My guess is that the furnace venting is the culprit. The additional heat (closest area to furnace) has caused the area to be compromised to some extent. My plan is to just monitor. When I have to remove the belly pan, then I will reinforce that area. Good luck!

Every RV we have owned has had floor squeaks.
When I had the belly coroplast removed from our current unit I fixed the kitchen squeak with a few appropriately placed screws from underneath. Great! But in reality, all I did was move the squeak's position a foot or so. Oh well.

We just live with it and usually never notice anymore.
