Front cap clear plastic bubbles

I was washing the camper and treating the roof when I noticed the very top of cap bubbling and a couple spots have busted. It appears the entire cap has some sort of clear membrane covering and is beginning to deteriorate. What is the fix? What type of facility can do the repair/ replacement of membrane?

Cedar Creek Cap

Reach out to Amish Family RV in Indiana They only work on Cedar Creeks. They will tell you exactly what is going on. You will get the answer you need to hear.

Owning a 2016 Silverback and having to constantly polish out the top 1/3 of the front cap ... I'd guess that your issue has been going on for years and perhaps the bubbles are just the latest development. That much deterioration doesn't just happen in a few months. Anyways ... you have 3 options ... get the cap sanded and repainted, get the cap replaced, do nothing and keep on RVing. The first 2 options will be pricey as in a few thousand dollars each.

At least give Amish Family RV a call and talk to Orvan at (260) 593-0951. He can give you an idea of what might be the best thing to do. He may be able to tell you if it looks like a factory defect or not. If it is you'll probably want to get the cap replaced and if not he will give you some recommendations on what to do. You will be able to text pictures to him on his individual phone (not the one above) that he will need to give you advise on what to do. So have them ready so you can send them to him.

He is located 2 miles south of Topeka, IN which may be a good drive for you. But if you take it to him (whether warranty or not) it will be done correctly, plus if you have some other issues with your unit that you would like to get taken care of, he'll be able to do those also. His hourly rate is $110 per hour.

Call him!!!! You won't regret it.
