Furrion 12 volt refer ice maker winterization
Thinking forward a few months, I'm looking into how to winterize the ice maker on my furrion 12 volt new refer. Manual doesn't really say anything. Contacted Furrion and they repeated the manual. I don't see a test switch that would allow me to pump anti freeze into the ice maker. The ice maker itself is covered so sticking a sponge in there to suck out water that in theory would trigger the unit to pump anti freeze in is a big challenge.
I've had a few RVs and have always had a good way to winterize the ice maker. I can attach a compressor and have the unit keep calling for water and possibly blow it out but would also like to fill with antifreeze. An no, there doesn't appear to be a timer that after some time, it will dump.
Anyone winterize their Furrion 12 volt ice maker yet? Looking for comments specific to this model not in general as I've been around RVs for a while. Thanks in advance
