gray water valve ?

I own a 2012 36RE and today when I went to dump the shower/sink/washing machine gray water, the valve would not open, the valve stem and handle came out normally but gate would open hence no waste water came out .

Is this a cable type? or just a handle and gate valve?
Does anyone know the location of the gate valve? (so I don't have to take off all enclosed area)
What is the best way to access the areas that I need to get to?

TIA

The cable runs from the handle to the gray tank valve. Both gray tank valves are accessible if you remove the second large underbelly panel (counting from the front). It's the panel immediately behind the propane line. Of course, you'll probably have to remove both the first and second panel to get the second panel off. There's insulation too. It's a 2 person job to get the panels back on again, unless you have 3 legs and 4 arms.

If you're under warranty, I'd let a dealer do it. If your valve is broken, it will be a nasty job to remove the old one and replace, all while laying on your back.

My 36RE was built Dec 2013 ... so (as always) there could be differences from a 2012.
