Hathaway vs silverback

If you live or camp in the south then a residential refrigerator is the best choice. No problems keeping food cold when it is 90+ with high humidity. This is our 7th RV and don’t miss the standard RV refrigerator. Love having a water dispenser and ice maker. I guess this is why the manufactures offer options. Everyone has a refrigerator they love.

The residential refrigerator will get ice cream frozen. Ours fell off the mount but it will stay in place now. No trouble dry camping as my Trojans take care of that. If you dry camp a lot then the RV refrigerator is the way to go, DW does not like to dry camp. Our residential is as big as our refrigerator at home. Buy what suits your lifestyle. I never winterize our Cedar Creek, I keep it heated in the winter as I camp year round
