HDMI ARC

I hope someone can help on this. I replaced my Jenson TV under warranty with the identical model tv. The old TV sound would play through the Jenson stereo. Now with the new TV I cant get the sound to work on the stereo. I have tried everything with no luck. The model of my RV is Cedar creek 36CK2. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

We need the model of the stereo and the new tv. Jensen may have changed some features on the new one.

I know the tv has a half dozen hdmi inputs on mine. Only one is an arc. Are you sure you plugged into the right one?

Also on the receiver. But, as I remember, there was only one on ours. Been a couple of years since I was in there.

How is the Jensen hooked to the stereo? Does everything route through the tv to the stereo? It may be as simple as going into the settings of the tv and enabling the output. I know on my Sony, one must turn on the output.

On mine, I had to do two things. First, I had to ensure that I was plugged into the HDMI ARC connector on the TV. The other thing was I had to ensure that the stereo was looking at TV2 for the input. Good luck.
