Hydraulic slideout open/close valve issue

Recently one of the the knobs that control the individual movements of the slides on my 2015 silverback 29re came off in my hand. Has anyone successfully re-attached one of these knobs? Or upgraded to a more substantial method.
Use the system frequently when cleaning/loading etc.

Yes I have. The knob has a small set screw that secures this to the shaft that controls the slide. I have tightened all of the knob set screws on my trailer. Examine the knob closely and you will see the set screw.

Thanks Jim for this info. I did not know this as I’m sure many don’t. I will check the set screws on mine also. Allen screw or screwdriver?

Don't over tighten it. I split one of my knobs in halve.

It was a couple of years ago that I had to tighten the knobs so, I really don't remember which style I used. Plus my trailer is in storage right now and I can't remove one to tell you.
God Luck.

I found one here at Grainger supply, not sure if this is the correct one.
Do a search on there website for "Pointed Control Knob".
They have a bunch of different ones.
