Information on flooring - 2016 EL

We want to replace the living room carpet in our 2016 EL Champagne with the existing vinyl flooring. I have tied contacting Kelly Ware at Cedar Creek and they have no information on the flooring. Looks like a herringbone style vinyl sheet flooring . Does anyone have information on who manufactures it and the name? Thanks in advance...

You don't have the flooring under the carpet, every camper I have owned had it under the carpet, you will have a thousand staples holding the carpet but you should just be able to rip it up and remove the staples...

Flooring under carpet

Witch Doctor - We were hoping the same, pulled up two of the floor vents and there is only wood. Looks like the vinyl flooring goes about one foot under the carpet and stops.

That is hard for me to believe, not that I doubt you, but when it go's down the line they first cover the floor with a whole sheet of flooring, I'm truly surprised on that. Your saying that at the vent there is no flooring? If you pull the vent only yes you will see raw wood on the edge. This is really a first for me, 5 traliers and they all had it under a carpet, good luck don't know what to say why CC cheaper out on you, even the low end models have it.

I had the same issue with my Cardinal and the flooring does not go all the way under the carpet much to my surprise

So for those of you that had it completely under the carpet you were lucky

All - I agree would think it would be easier as part of the assembly process.

We got a gouge in our vinyl flooring and replaced it all with Pinnacle Peaks vinyl flooring that comes in pieces. It looks great, seems to wear fine and if I mess it up I can replace a strip.

I don't know what was installed in 2016, but they are currently using Congoleum™ Carefree Designer series flooring.

I did a quick google and found this link which caught my eye because it had RV in it:
https://www.lasallebristol.com/produ...gner-carefree/

But also the "Carefree" I think refers to "Pergo" like planks. Maybe a quick consult with a local flooring CO. might help. or try Angela Oliver at Cedar Creek. She's been my "go to" person there.

I asked the plant foreman at Cedar Creek about the flooring for a friend as they wanted to remove the carpet and they DO NOT cover the whole floor anymore first just the area where they want to have it. I agree it would be nice and they used to do that but not anymore.
