Inside door handle?

Because I have had doors that a strong wind pulled out of my hand and slammed into the side of the RV, I wonder if someone hasn't found a way to add a handle (I'm using some string that makes a loop) to the to the existing small handle that's hard to grip if a gust of wind hits it? Thanks for any suggestions!

There is a cross bar that mounts to the door, that can be adjusted for door width. Its held on by 4 screws. It's pretty popular. You should be able to find some pics on here, if nobody post one.

Its made by Camco. Its called a screendoor cross bar.

We did not want to add the full screen door handle, so we bought a 5" drawer handle and put in the center of the screen door. We installed it because it is hard to shut the door when it is fully open but it is also helpful when the wind is trying to jerk the door out of my hand. I made certain that I was buying a handle deep enough that my hand would fit into it and wide enough to grasp.

I'm looking for something that attaches to the main door handle not the screen door. A strong wind could separate the screen door from the main door allowing it to hit the side of the RV while the screen door stayed closed.
