Insignia 20.7 cu ft Fridge Question

We have the Insignia NS-RFD21SS7 french door refrigerator with freezer drawers. For those of you that have one, is there any way to turn off both the fridge and freezer sections w/o having to turn off the breaker or unplug it? The instructions show how to turn off the fridge part but it says the freezer will remain running. So for now we've been tripping the breaker but checking with those that may also have this model if they have found another way to turn it completely off.

Likewise, the only way I found to turn the freezer off is with the breaker. Can turn the fridge off as you say, but not the freezer.

I appreciate the verification! Interesting (using sarcasm) design to be able to turn off 1/2 the fridge only. Maybe explains why that model is discontinued!

I wonder if it has to do with the ice making capabilities? Still doesn't make complete sense to me. Breaker is easy enough to trip but would be better on the fridge/freezer control panel. Things that make ya go hmmm!
