The red button to the right is the power button. The round black knob is a fuse.

Good, what is important is to see what the battery level is when the AC output reads 55 volt. You will need to be disconnected from shore power or throw the main AC breakers in your power panel to simulate no shore power.

You don’t say what your RV model is or I have missed it? It will be harder to see what the “real” AC voltage out is as it typically runs to a receptacle behind a residential fridge that is hard to get to.

Did I miss the signature or did you just add it..lol

I have a 2016 33IK so I know your inverter just runs the residential fridge.

Watch my video I sent in earlier post. I’m sure your inverter is the same as mine.

Looks like a failed inverter.
An output of only 55v AC is not good. (Do Not try to run your refrigerator on it)
You have ample DC power coming in. (13.1v)

Again, I had a similar issue with mine and internet forums have several references to these 51XX series inverters having similar issues.

So the conclusion would be a crapped out inverter?

Yes, as 5picker says. If that reading of 55 volts is correct the inverter is shot. DC input is good.

Your rv is a 2015 so I’m not surprised it is time to replace. I had to replace my inverter and mine is a 2016. I replaced mine with the same type unit.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

There is no need for a larger inverter as all it runs is the fridge. Actually on mine I’ve tied into the AC output and have a 3 cubic foot freezer in the front basement.

DO NOT RUN FRIDGE OFF THE INVERTER

Good luck..

If your refrigerator could operate with an 800 watt inverter:

Do I have to have a inverter/charger, or is that just a convenience. We typically stay with hookups.

You already have a charger. It is part of the converter.
Just be sure to get an inverter with a built in crossover switch.

Maybe? What ever you get make sure it has an automatic transfer. The inverter you have lets the shore power run thru it and then to the fridge. If the shore power goes away then the inverter has an internal control that switches away from shore power and to the 120 volts generated by the inverter. It is automatic.

Make sure what you get has this automatic feature or you run the risk of shore power and inverter at the same time..not good.
