LED problems

Is anyone else having trouble with the 4" round (puck) type LED lights in the 2013 Cedar Creeks. I've blown 2 just parked in my winter RV Resort home. Cedar Creek is real good about replacing them, so far.

Sorry to hear that. Is Cedar Creek replacing them or your dealer?

was told by my dealer, ( who I believe) Forest river does not warranty light bulbs, I would assume this applies to led also

I believe dealers replace them during warranty as a good will gesture to their customers. Customers typically install bulbs themselves so there is no service bill. Chances are when you pick up bulb from dealer you will buy something else when you are there so dealer still makes money off you.

In the 2013 Cedar Creeks the LED lights are not bulbs they are part of a circuit board hard wired into the system. Little parts of the circuit board light up. In my other failure a little part came unsoldered and fell off. this one seems to have a failure in the circuit board.

I had one blown in my 2011 when I bought it but it was replaced by the dealer, since then no problems with them....touching wood.

Update.. Finally got hold of the Warranty Mgr (Justin) today and he is sending me a new light fixture. Kevin is no longer Svc Mgr, he has moved up to a supervisory position at another FR division. He indicated they are not having much trouble with the new LEDs.
