These are the ones I used: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I've had them for a couple of years now. Seem to do the job.

Does anyone know off hand (mine is in storage) what size thread the plug is that screws in?
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I cut off the fitting and went direct to the PEX.

Hi Jim. Can you take a pic please? My line broke when I had a blow out, and I'm trying to repair it. I want to make sure I get to to look like it was previously. Thanks!

Those screw on caps stink. Always crack....cut the pex off clean where it broke and get a sharkbite 1/4 turn ball valve with a 3/4 hose connection.

https://www.lowes.com/pd/SharkBite-B...E&gclsrc=aw.ds

It will be easy to hook up a hose and use it and simple to fix amd more flexible for future needs.

You may need to measure the pipe to see if it is 1/2 or 1/4in.

I bought these off of Amazon. I think they were $9 a piece.

Mueller-Industries-102-353HN-HOSE-2-Inch. I like the fact I can hook a garden hose up to them. Very easy to install.
