Mini Breaker Trips when I run AutoLevel

I have a 2016 33IK camper. Last fall I was in the process of filling my fresh water tank. I had just hooked the camper up to my truck and I was in the process of retracting the landing gear. All the jacks were completely up except the back left jack which was 1/2 way up.

I suddenly heard a loud crack and a bang. The fresh water tank dropped. It didn't fall all the way out but it dropped several inches. The crack I heard was the wood used to hold the corrasplast in place. I'm not 100% sure what caused it, but the 1/8th inch angle iron used to hold the tank in place bent and failed.

When this happened the minibreaker tripped and caused the retraction of my landing gear to fail. I have since repaired the water tank issue and all seems to be back in order.... for the most part.

Since that time I have been having trouble with the minibreaker tripping every time I Autol evel or Auto retract. For a while the breaker was also tripping when I would try and put the slides in or out. I greased the gears on the slides and that seems to have corrected that problem but I'm still having trouble with the jacks.

Obviously this problem is related to the tank falling. The hydraulic lines run under the tank and the definitely played a role in keeping the tank from hitting the ground. I've inspected the lines and fittings and I don't see and leaks or anything like that.

When I start lower the gear it goes fine for 80%-90% of the process and then it trips. Once I reset it once I can normally finish the process but sometimes I have to reset it twice.

Any thoughts what might be causing this and where I should start trying to figure it out. I've been camping for a long time but Hydraulics and self leveling systems are all new to me.

There is a wired level sensor toward the rear of your RV. Usually on the last crossmember behind the tires. You can view the Lippert website for pics and details. I would check these wires. Also any other wires in the area that may have been stretched when the tank fell. May have a weak ground or short.

I would think the hydraulic lines are fine if there are no kinks and no leakage. Highly doubt the lines are part of the problem.

Also, make sure your battery is fully charged. We usually also hook up the TV, shore, or generator when operation the hydraulics to help the battery via the converter. These systems take a lot of juice, and if not available, it plays havoc with fuses.

Also, it might be the fuse itself. They do wear out. My unit is seven years old and I have replaced all the resettable fuses (auto and otherwise). They are cheap, so an easy test for your problem.
